Calligraphy for the Climate, with Gemma O'Brien

Participants will be taught easy ways to create big, bold letters for a protest sign which can be used in a climate march or hung as a reminder of their values and beliefs.

Calligraphy for the Climate is a workshop series that aims to combine the art of expressive writing with meaningful climate action. Led by graphic artist Gemma O'Brien, the goal of the workshop is to empower participants with more knowledge about the climate crisis, reflect on their relationship with the natural world and learn practical calligraphy techniques that will allow them to amplify their voices and express themselves in new, creative ways.
