Ahmad has been pushing the definition of brand marketing and innovation since starting his advertising career in Scotland 17 years ago.

Before coming to New Zealand he led and partnered with a wide variety of brands and clients across multiple markets and sectors. These ranged from beverage brands like Grolsch, Absolut & Jameson, to Playstation EMEA, Vodafone UK, BBC iPlayer and Lloyd’s Banking Group.
In 2014 he moved to Colenso BBDO in Auckland and continued to work with and help create some of the world’s most iconic brands. In 2019, he led the launch of the Global Innovation Hub for Mars Pet Nutrition and Mars Wrigley Confectionary - a creative consultancy, built to use creativity and purpose to redesign global business models for Mars’ priority brands, design and launch a venture startup, and develop award winning brand platforms that have driven growth in over 40 countries.
His team’s work was consistently recognized for creativity and effectiveness all over the world and picked up hundreds of international awards at shows including Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Caples, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Spikes, Ad Stars and The Effies.
Now leading Deloitte Digital’s newly formed creative studio in NZ, Ahmad is continuously excited by the world’s most challenging problems, and inspired by the people and ideas that change the world.
