Human Person is a creative studio from Los Angeles, California, that works across a variety of design fields, with a focus on bringing human ideas to life.
Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, co-founder Ben Dalgleish moved to Los Angeles in 2017. Over the past decade, he’s used his eye for design on a global scale, designing some of the biggest productions on the planet and making great friends along the way. Dalgleish’s innovative and architectural approach to lighting design in Post Malone’s Runaway tour won him the Knight of Illumination Award for Arena Touring in 2019.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, co-founder Ian Valentine moved to New York City in 2011 to study interactive media at Pratt Institute. While there, he started using game engines to create live audio-visual performances and the rest was history. After moving to Los Angeles in 2015, he built a space for himself in the live events industry and simulated his way into the heart of many great animation studios before co-founding Human Person with Dalgleish.
