Jessica lectures about design at creative conferences and universities internationally. She teaches design & typography at The School of Visual Arts in NYC. Her work has won numerous awards from most major design competitions including Type Director’s Club, Art Director’s Club, SPD, Print, New York Festivals, D&AD, TDC Tokyo, and Graphis, among many others. Her work has been featured in numerous books & magazines.. Clients include: Museum of Modern Art, The Jewish Museum, Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, Barneys, The New York Times, Levis, Adobe, and The School of Visual Arts. Her personal project “40 Days of Dating” with designer Timothy Goodman received over 10 million readers, and received international recognition including spots on “The Today Show” and “The View". The film rights to “40 Days of Dating” was bought by Warner Bros who are currently working on the script. Their book “40 Days of Dating: An Experiment” is being published by Abrams and will be released in January 2015.

Make Your Own Rules: Jessica spoke about the value of creative play and the importance of this as a tool for innovation. How play is a mindset where you allow yourself to fail and take risks, and how humans can enter this state mind. She eplained how experimentation and intrinsic motivation was crucial to her own development, and shared how it influenced her career path and shaping the work she does today.
