Te Radar is a satirist, documentary maker, writer, stage and screen director, failed gardener, appalling war correspondent, and amateur historian.
He has made a lot of TV programmes about sustainability, statistics, travel, and most recently “Te Radar’s Chequered Past”, which is celebration of New Zealand history.
He is the Patron of the Galloway Cattle (NZ) Association because he has a fondness for rare breed animals. He’s an ambassador for Wildbase, Massey University’s Wildlife Hospital because he’d rather not see endangered species become rarer.
He has always had a fascination with machinery, especially vintage machines and anything that has plenty of cogs and belts and gauges.
Other than that he does very little.
