Tereza Ruller
Co-Founder, Communication Designer and Performative Design Researcher ∙ The Rodina
Tereza Ruller (1987) is Amsterdam based independent designer and educator. She tests intermedia art strategies in the field of graphic design and investigates theoretical framework around Body presence, Labour, and Action. Through her practice called The Rodina she tests strategies of performance art, play and subversion. Both in commissioned work and in autonomous practice, Tereza activates and reimagines a dazzling range of layered meanings around the surface of design. Tereza is a lecturer of Society and Change class at Design Academy Eindhoven and gives talks and workshops internationally, for example at CalArts (USA), MICA (USA), and ZHDK (CH). Her commissioners are mostly cultural institutions such as Harvard GSD (USA), Sonic Acts Foundation (NL) and Stroom Den Haag (NL).
