Dino Dalle Carbonare is an established photojournalist and YouTuber based in Tokyo, Japan. With over twenty years of experience covering Japanese and global car culture, he’s become a respected specialist and a recognizable figure in the automotive world. After close to a decade of establishing himself as a writer and photographer through print media, in 2008, Dino became part of the founding team at Electronic Arts that launched Speedhunters.com, one of the most successful car culture websites in the world, a site that thrives to this day.
In between consulting automotive manufacturers, game studios and brands, Dino created documentaries for Discovery Channel and was the local Japan producer for Top Gear. He spent 3 years working for the hyper-car manufacturer Pagani as their PR and Marketing Manager in the APAC region, promoting and organising events and activations. Following that, Dino handled the Nissan account for the US PR company Edelman, idealising and helping execute primordial and marketing campaigns.
Wanting to develop his own content and brand, Dino launched his own YouTube channel, DinoDC, in 2023 to focus on highlighting Japanese and global car culture. In under 2 years, the channel has generated over 150,000 subscribers with a loyal following and a massive potential for growth. Dino’s YouTube channel is not just another vlog channel but a journalistic approach to YouTube that provides authentic culture and documentation. Because of this, Dino has become one of the most authoritative names in the world of Japanese car culture. Dino’s name and JDM culture have a direct correlation for millions of people around the world who trust and respect Dino’s content.
