DJ Dandy, originally from New York, lives and plays (mostly) 7-inch vinyl (mostly) in Tokyo these days. He is a resident DJ and co-founder of Showa Kayo Night (est. 2011). 

Dandy – aka Justin Miller – helms the renowned Showa Kayo Night parties in Tokyo’s Shibuya neighborhood. Extensively covered in Japanese press and television, the night has reintroduced the city’s club-goers to ‘60s, '70s, and ‘80s Japanese dance hits. The raucous parties attract an eclectic mix of salarymen, the fashion set, globetrotters, and nightlife industry pros. Live performances at larger events have included superstars Linda Yamamoto, Miki Hirayama, and Ryudo Uzaki. 

He has been featured in the Tokyo Shinbun, GQ magazine, Pen magazine, Tokyo FM, as well as various other publications and TV shows for sharing his love of discovering Japanese oldies.
