Eisuke Tachikawa leads NOSIGNER, a design firm dedicated to creating a hopeful future. He strives to tackle social issues, climate change mitigation, renewable energy, disaster prevention, and community revitalization through design. Advocating "Evolutional Creativity," learning creativity with the use of adaptive biological evolution, he won the Shichihei Yamamoto Prize, Japan’s top humanities award. As chairman of Benesse’s "Future of Higher Education" group, he promotes creative education. He has won 100+ awards globally for product, graphic, and architectural design, including the Good Design Gold Award and the Design for Asia Grand Award. He has served as a judge for many competitions. In 2021, he became the youngest president of JIDA, Japan’s oldest national design body. In 2023, he joined the WDO board, an advisory group to the United Nations, further shaping global design discourse.
