Born in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and a proud Scorpio woman. Yuri works as a producer in an advertising/branding agency while occasionally writing for magazines and literary journals.

Motto IWAKAN! is a podcast that questions the subtle “discomforts” of society, called iwakan in Japanese, from a queer perspective, and dares to imagine what lies beyond them. The members of Moto IWAKAN explore everyday topics such as love, media, technology, politics, the environment, pop culture, and more, offering bold discussions and ideas that challenge fixed norms through a queer and gender-conscious lens.
