Tokyo Salone with Soho House

Monthly gatherings the third week at Soho House Tokyo.

Thirdspace Thirdweeks is a recurring rhythm of conversations, shared meals, listening sessions, workshops, screenings, and neighborhood gatherings hosted throughout the year. Rather than building toward a single annual event, Thirdweeks creates regular opportunities to slow down, reconnect, and continue conversations already in motion.

Not a speaker series.Not a panel program.

Thirdspace Thirdweeks begins with a different question. What happens when community becomes a regular practice instead of an occasional event?

Some evenings center around one guest. Others around a meal, a film, a workshop, a walk, or simply time spent together. The format changes. The intention remains the same. To create the conditions where trust, friendship, and new ideas can grow over time.

THE ROLE OF THIRDSPACE

Thirdspace Thirdweeks isn't somewhere people come to consume culture. It's somewhere people come to participate in it. Each gathering strengthens relationships across disciplines, generations, and communities that might otherwise never meet. Ideas travel more easily when people know one another.

The Human Arc of the Year

Creative lives don't unfold in annual cycles. They unfold through seasons. Periods of learning. Periods of making. Periods of uncertainty. Periods of rest. Thirdspace Thirdweeks offers a gentle rhythm throughout the year, creating opportunities to reconnect whenever people need them. There is no expectation to attend everything. Only an open invitation to return.

What Makes It Rare

There is no fixed format. No standard agenda. No expectation that every gathering should look the same. Some evenings are conversations. Others become workshops. Listening sessions. Neighborhood walks. Shared dinners. Film screenings. Studio visits. The community shapes the rhythm together.

Ideas evolve. Community becomes something practiced rather than promised.

Soho House Tokyo

Founded in London in 1995 as a discreet refuge for creative minds, Soho House has grown into a global network grounded in culture and connection. Since April 2026, Soho House Tokyo continues this tradition from its home in Aoyama, one of the city’s most vital design districts.

Within the Tokyo Salone cultural infrastructure, it serves as a year-round site for exchange, hosting Thirdspace Thirdweeks and select program gatherings for members and invited guests.

Designed for connection and discretion, the House offers an environment where dialogue unfolds naturally and relationships deepen over time.

Not a stage.

A room where velocity becomes conversation.

Year-round gatherings that build trust, momentum, and community between the larger moments of the constellation

Throughout the year, the constellation unfolds across Japan

The annual gathering at the heart of the constellation, bringing domestic and international voices together through talks, workshops, shared experiences, and conversation.

An exploration of engineering, mobility, JDM culture, and the communities that continue to shape them.

A gathering exploring hospitality, food culture, culinary innovation, and future systems of care.

A forum examining the signals, technologies, and cultural shifts shaping tomorrow.

An invitation-led gathering exploring how a new generation is redefining luxury through identity, density, urban influence, and lived culture.

After the Flame

A space for reflection, integration, and the conversations that continue after gathering.

Held in Sound

An exploration of listening as cultural practice through sound, silence, attention, and shared experience.

Some experiences are intimate.

Some are public.

Some are invitation-led.

Together they form a living ecosystem of relationships, ideas, and exchange.
